KOHIMA DISTRICT  ADMINISTRATION UNDERTAKES MASSIVE TASK OF SENDING BACK STRANDED PEOPLE IN KOHIMA

As per the directives of the State Government to facilitate the inter district movement of stranded persons because of the enforced lockdown in the Country owing to the Covid 19 pandemic the Kohima District administration has started the massive exercise of systematically sending off stranded students and daily wage earners who are stranded in Kohima to their respective districts on 7th May 2020.

Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie NCS, has informed that inorder to facilitate shopping for the general public  on account of Mothers’ Day which falls on 10/05/20, all categories of shops in Kohima are hereby allowed to remain open during permitted hours on Friday (08/05/20) and Saturday (09/05/20).

DEPUTY COMMISSIONER PEREN PROMULGATES 144CRPC

DC DIMAPUR NOTIFIES ON MOVEMENT OF STRANDED PEOPLE

DC Dimapur Anoop Khinchi has informed all concerned that the Government is allowing the movement of local/Indigenous persons who are stranded and desires to return back to their home district/villages during the period from 7th to 9th May 2020. Therefore to facilitate the movement to their respective destination, a facilitation centre is set up at Badminton State Stadium, near DC office.

Principal Director, School Education, Shanavas C, IAS has informed the Head of Institutions of all schools (Both Govt. & Private) functioning under the Department of School Education, Nagaland to devise mechanism for preparation and circulation of ‘Notes’ to their students for those lessons being broadcasted through DD/AIR by the Department under the Lockdown Tele/Radio Tutoring Programme.
