In pursuance of the Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India letter D.O. 1-56/2021-DIGED dated 9th September 2021, the Nagaland Board of School Education has notified for information of all the Heads of Registered Institution under NBSE to be aware of the ill effects of online gaming addiction/ abuse among the students. Online games can be found almost anywhere on any gaming platforms such as PCs, consoles and mobile devices.

In supersession of the Finance Department’s Order No. FIN/REV/GST/MISC/23/2017 dated 11th May 2021, in view of nomination of Ajit Kumar Ranjan, IAS, Joint Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Department as the Nodal Officer for the State of Nagaland vide D.O.CSO/DC-12/HFW/2021 dated 7th May 2021, the appointment of Wochamo Odyuo, Additional Commissioner of State Taxes, Nagaland as the Nodal Authority is hereby cancelled.

School Education Department has notified for the information of all concerned that the Block Level Creative Writing Contest for students of Classes 6 to 12 for celebrating the Birth Anniversary of Guru Teg Bahadur will be held on 28th September 2021 from 10:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m through Online mode or Offline mode at selected Centre Schools across the State depending on the number of candidates registering for the contest.

Deputy Commissioner Phek, Razouvolie Dozo in a circular informed that in the interest of the public safety, there will be total restriction of traffic movement through Pfutsero-Phek ongoing 2-Lane road (Existing Km 45+700 to Km 51+200) from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM from 15th to 24th September, 2021. The restriction s necessitated to facilitate speedy completion of 2-Lane works of Pfutsero-Phek road.
