Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer Mokokchung, Shashank Pratap Singh IAS under his Chairmanship has constituted a committee in the district in order to ensure observation of Model Code of Conduct and smooth conduct of General election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly 2023.

In accordance with the National Policy of Education (1986), the Government of India established Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas to provide good quality modern education to talented children predominantly from the rural areas. As of now 649 JNVs have been established across the country.

ADC cum Administrator Chozuba Town Council, Imokokla had assigned respective area incharges and scheduled a mass social work from 7:00 am onwards on 24th January 2023 for the forthcoming Republic Day 2023 celebrations and also directed all the DBs and GBs to make wide publicity and supervise the social work in their respective allotted area.

Deputy Commissioner & DEO, Phek Kumar Ramnikant, IAS has notified for the general information of all concerned that the Election Commission of India has announced the schedule for the General Election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly vide its press note No.ECI/PN/2023 dated 18th January 2023 

The DC & DEO Kohima in a press release stated that the Election Commission of India through its Press Note NO.ECI/PN/1/2023 has announced the schedule for the conduct of General Elections to the Nagaland Legislative Assembly.
