KMC administrator, Kovi Meyase has notified that in the interest of the public and to ease and facilitate the weak & the sick during the lockdown period, the following vehicle in the under mentioned wards within the Kohima Municipal Council has been earmarked to provide FREE transportation on a 24x7 basis for any medical emergency NOT related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

PRO-RATA CUTS OF 15% UNDER 'NON-DEVELOPMENT'
As a measure of austerity in view of the economic crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government has directed that there shall be pro-rata cuts of 15% under 'Non- Development' from the Budget Estimates (BE) of 2020-21 in respect of all departments for the following expenditure items:-

In pursuance to Order received from the office of the Chief Secretary Government of Nagaland, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant IAS has permitted the following activities within Tuensang district jurisdiction with immediate effect:
ROUNDUP ON COVID-19 LOCKDOWN IN THE STATE
Home Department of the Nagaland State Government issued the daily report on Law & Order and facilitation of essential Goods & Services in the State for the 23th of April, 2020. The report informed that 8 violations of the lockdown were reported. 1(one) person was arrested, 14 (Fourteen) persons were bound down and 1(One) FIR case was registered. However, no Law and Order incident has been reported in any part of the State.
TRAINING OF COVID-19 VOLUNTEERS AT MON
Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K IAS informed that on the 23rd of April 2020, COVID-19 Volunteers for Mon District were trained in the DC's Conference Hall. The training was conducted in 2 (two) batches. The first batch comprised of Red Cross, Youth Club and Nehru Yuka Kendra (NYK) Volunteers and the second batch comprised of Grade-IV Government Servants requisitioned for COVID-19 duty.
