Home Department, on 31st March, issued an advisory to curb religious congregation during the lockdown period. It stated that the State is presently under lockdown for 21 days due to the COVID19 outbreak, during which all kinds of gatherings are barred including religious congregation since it has the potential of easily allowing the virus to spread thereby putting the lives of many at risk.
IMKONGLIBA MEMORIAL DISTRICT HOSPITAL IDENTIFIED AS COVID-19 HOSPITAL
Principal Secretary Health and Family Welfare, Menukhol John in exercising the powers conferred by the Nagaland Epidemic Disease (COVID-19) Regulations, 2020 under the Epidemic Disease Act 1897, identified Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital (1MDH) as COVID-19 HOSPITAL. He informed that the following alternative arrangements are to be prepared for the convenience of patients:

Kohima Lotha Hoho on 28th March 2020 took a noble step to contribute towards the fight against COVID-19 in the State by permitting the NSDMA to utilize its Conference Hall at Kezieke along with the furniture and other facilities for the present State-wide lockdown period.
