Altogether 1348 returnees from various parts of the country are under mandatory quarantine in five different Government Institutional Quarantine Centres under Kohima district as on 8th June 2020.
DC PEREN ISSUES ORDER ON PROMULGATION OF SEC. 144 OF CrPC
In compliance with the lockdown guidelines issued by the Chief Secretary of Nagaland vide Order No.CSO/GAB-1/COM/GEN-1/2020 dated Kohima, the 1st June 2020, the Deputy Commissioner of Peren, Sentiwapang Aier on 7th June, 2020 has issued an order for promulgation of Sec.144 of CrPC in the whole of Peren district, prohibiting the assembly of five (5) or more persons and movement of individuals between 5 P.M. to 6 A.M. except for exempted categories.
LAW & ORDER REPORT FOR 7TH JUNE
The State Emergency Operation Centre COVID-19 Control room at Kezekie Kohima has issued the report on Law & Order across the state as on 7th June, 2020. Joint Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, HiazuMeru stated in the report that, there were no violations, onlaw &order incidents across the State.
DIRECTORATE LEVEL WORKSHOP ON "SCALING UP OF AGRICULTURE ACTIVITIES IN THE STATE"
A day long workshop on "Scaling up of Agriculture activities in the State" was conducted at the Conference Hall of Agriculture Directorate on 4th June 2020. Technical Officers deliberated on developing Action Plan & Way forward focusing on the production and post production activities.
DC MON RESTRICTS HEAVY VEHICLES OVER DAMAGED BRIDGE
Deputy Commissioner, Mon Thavaseelan K IAS in an order notified to all the general public that the Mokha Nullah Bridge located around 24 Km from Longching between Jakphang and Ukha Villages has been partially damaged due to land sinkage. Therefore, for the safety of all, plying of heavy vehicles over the bridge as mentioned above is hereby strictly restricted with immediate effect, till restoration work is completed.

ZUNHEBOTO RECEIVES 16 RETURNEES
16 returnees arrived at Zunheboto town at 1:00 am on 8th June, 2020. The returnees are being quarantined at Zunheboto Government College. 6 females and 10 males, 1 female from Haryana, 4 females and 2 males from Uttar Pradesh, one female and eight males from Chandigarh arrived in a bus from Dimapur.
