The Department of Health and Family Welfare have brought to the notice that vaccination of the age group 18-44 years will commence only when the State has received the vaccine from the supplier. So far, the State has received a letter from Serum Institute India (SII) stating that it will be supplying 36,580 doses of COVISHIELD.

In partial modification to NSDMAorder dated the 21st of April, 2021, theState Level War Room on COVID-19 has restarted with the Chief Secretary &Chairperson of State Executive Committee, Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority,(NSDMA) as the Chairman, and Members from the key line departments as mentioned below.

In order to facilitate contact tracing of persons affected with Covid-19 in the future, DC Mon Thavaseelan K IAS on 29th April 2021 issued an order with the following instructions for all public transport owners (Bus/Sumo):
