VEHICLE RESTRICTION UNDER ZUNHEBOTO DISTRICT ON POLLING DAY

To facilitate smooth and peaceful conduct of the Lok Sabha election 2024, Zunheboto District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Rahul Bhanudas Mali, IAS has restricted inter polling stations /assembly constituency movement of private vehicles under Zunheboto district on the poll day i.e 19th April from 7:00AM to 4:00PM. The aforementioned  restriction shall be applied to all the vehicle except those vehicle requisitioned for election duties viz district administration, police, press and media, CAPF, polling personnel,  medical department and department exempted by the election commission of India. 

Notwithstanding this order the movement for vehicle for medical exigencies and other emergencies shall be permitted only after taking prior permission from the office of the Deputy Commissioner or District Election Officer. Failing to comply with this order, strict actions shall be initiated against the defaulters and shall be booked under relevance sections of the representations of the People Act 1951.
