REPORT ON COVID-19 LOCKDOWN

As on 29th May 2020, no violation of the lockdown was reported in the State. While issuing the report on Law & Order and facilitation of essential Goods & Services, the Principal Secretary, Home, Abhijit Sinha informed that 150(One Hundred and Fifty) vehicles were challaned under various sections of the MV Act and an amount of Rs. 30,050/- was collected as fine.

ONE PERSON TESTS POSITIVE FOR COVID-19 AT TUENSANG TOWN

Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant IAS has issued a press release on 29th May 2020, at 6:AM, that the State Nodal Officer, IDSP, Kohima reported that 1(one) person of Sao Chang College Quarantine Centre has tested positive for COVID-19, Consequently the person has been admitted to District COVID Hospital Tuensang and contact tracing has been initiated.
