The monthly Wokha District Planning & Development Board Meeting was held at DC’s conference hall on 9th October 2020. The meeting was conducted by vice-chairman DPDB & DC Wokha, Orenthung Lotha.
The Board welcomed new members, Er. Yanthanshan Yanthan SDO (H), Alemtoshi AME (Mech), Y. Achilo Murry SDEO Sanis, and Mhathung Humtsoe SDEO Bhandari.

A IAS in a press release clarified that the Model Code of Conduct in Kohima district, in view of the Bye-Election to the 14 Southern Angami I (ST) Assembly Constituency shall be applicable only within the limits of 14 Southern Angami I (ST) Assembly Constituency, including the three polling stations under Ward No. 5 Kitsubozou (Chotobosti).
In view of the detection of Covid-19 positive person residing at Judicial quarter, Leinak ward (Noklangkong) Longleng,the building has been sealed for 48 hours in order to contain the spread of the disease/ infection and for necessary contact tracing.
All movement of person /vehicle in the sealed area is strictly restricted / prohibited and under active surveillance with effect from the date of sealing.
