“My dear citizens of Nagaland,
As on today, active cases remain at 43. All positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals. Active surveillance is going on to prevent further spreading of the infection.
CHIEF SECRETARY REITERATES ON LOCKDOWN GUIDELINES
The Office of the Chief Secretary, Nagaland has reiterated that all the existing guidelines with regard to the Lockdown in all parts of the State issued vide Order of even number dated 04.05.2020, will continue to remain operative till further orders.

DC MON NOTIFIES PET OWNERS
Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS, in an order has notified that no Village/Ward Authorities, Individuals or Groups are allowed to issue "Shoot-at-Sight" Order for pets especially dogs. Such an act is a punishable offence under Section 3 & 11 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960.

Deputy Commissioner & Chairman District Task Force for COVID-19, Wokha, Orenthung Lotha has notified that in view of the phased relaxation of the lockdown measures with guideline as per Ministry of Home Affairs, the timing for opening of markets and shops at Wokha town has been relaxed from 7:00 Am to 4:00 PM from Mondays to Saturdays with effect from 1st June 2020.
