CEO INFORMS ON RESTRICTIONS OF FUNDS RELEASE

CEO Nagaland Abhijit Sinha has stated that with the announcement of Bye Election to be held on November 3 for the 60- Pungro-Kiphire AC, and for 14th Southern Angami AC under Kohima District, the Model Code of Conduct has come into force in entire Kohima District except for the areas under Kohima Municipal council other than ward NO.5 Kitsubozou (Chotobosti) and in the entire Kiphire District with immediate effect and will be in force till the completion of the Election process.

One day National webinar on 'National Education Policy (NEP 2020)- Strategic Roadmap for North East India' jointly organised by the Department of Education and Department of Teacher Education Nagaland University will be held on 7 October 2020 at 11 am.

GUIDELINES FOR PUBLICATIONS DURING BYE ELECTIONS AT PUNGRO

As per the section 127 A of the representation of the people Act 1951 guidelines the following will come into effect immediately within Kiphire District for the period of the bye- elections to the house of the people for 60 Pungro- Kiphire Assembly constituency .

1.      No person shall print or publish, or cause to be printed or published any election pamphlet or poster which does not bear on its face the names and addresses of the printer and the publisher thereof.

DC DMP ON RESTRICTION OF VEHICLE MOVEMENT

DC Dimapur, Rajesh SoundararajanIn, has informed that in the interest of public safety there will be total restriction of all movement from Chathe River Bridge (Patkai Bridge) to Kukidolong from 12 noon on 13 October 2020 (Tuesday) till 12 noon on 15th October 2020 (Thursday) for restoration works.

He stated that the restriction is necessitated as a precautionary measure to prevent any injury, loss of life and damage to property.

PHEK OBSERVES INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE GIRL CHILD
