Peren Observed International Day of Girl Child on 11th October, 2020 under the theme "My Voice, Our Equal Future" which emphasizes on the adolescent girls to keep pace with the reality they face today. It is a day dedicated to amplify the voice of the girl child stand up for their rights.
INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE GIRL CHILD OBSERVED AT LONGLENG
Along with the rest of the world, a weeklong celebration of the “International Girl Child day” on the Theme; “My Voice, Our Equal Future” was observed at Longleng district from 7th-11th October 2020, organized by the District Administration, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao and Mahila Shakti Kendra Longleng.

In view of the detection of a Covid-19 positive case at house No-34, Shayung ward Longleng the aforementioned building (House No-34,shayung ward) is hereby by sealed for 48 hours in order to contain the spread of the disease /infection and for necessary tracing.
All movement of person/ vehicle in the sealed area is strictly restricted/ prohibited and under active surveillance with effect from the date of sealing.
