The Fire and Emergency Service Department will be conducting Fire Safety & Awareness Campaign on 17th April 2021 at helipad, Kiphire at 10:00 AM.

Deputy Commissioner, Wokha Orenthung Lotha, stated in an order that some individuals and groups are wilfully obstructing the construction works of National Highway at Km 71.00 to Km 101.00 within the demarcated Right of Way (RoW) for which compensation has already been paid and such acts are deemed to be illegal and are being viewed seriously.

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pfutsero and Chairman of BTF on COVID-19 chaired the Block Task Force meeting on the 13th of April, 2021. The meeting was held to discuss the measures for public safety and enforcement of Standard Operating Procedures and guidelines issued by the State Government as a result of resurgence of COVID-19 situation in the Country and in the State.

            In partial modification of the Office notification of even number dated Peren the 10th March, 2021 and in pursuance to direction received from the Government of Nagaland, Home Department (General Administrative Branch 1), Deputy Commissioner of Peren, Sentiwapang Aier has informed that the process for selection of new Village Councils Members (VCMs) for the next tenure is extended and the whole exercise should be completed on or before 30th April, 2021.
