Tuensang District Task Force for COVID 19 held meeting at DC Conference Hall Tuensang on 23rd if June 2020. The meeting was chaired by Kumar Ramnikant DC and Chairman DTF Tuensang. The members discussed to reduce the Quarantine Centres as per the intakes and number of inmates in the facilities by July and August this year. This is a prospective exercise to vacate the academic infrastructures now using as QCs in the district.

DC PEREN PROHIBITS OUTSIDE FOOD AT QUARANTINE CENTRES
The ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic has necessitated the setting up of quarantine facilities to accommodate the large number of returnees to the district from various parts of the country. It has been reported that parents and relatives of the returnees accommodated at the different quarantine facilities are bringing packages of food and other commodities to their wards resulting in unnecessary harassment of the facility managers as well as other staff manning the quarantine facilities.
