In view of the detection of a Covid-19 positive case at house No-34, Shayung ward Longleng the aforementioned building (House No-34,shayung ward) is hereby by sealed for 48 hours in order to contain the spread of the disease /infection and for necessary tracing.
All movement of person/ vehicle in the sealed area is strictly restricted/ prohibited and under active surveillance with effect from the date of sealing.
Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie NCS in an order issued on 9th October 2020 stated that with reference to the Joint No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by the Village Councils of Khuzama, Viswema, Jakhama, Kigwema and Phesama, it is informed to all public that any new developments along the RoW of the proposes 2-Lane Kohima - Mao Road Project should not be undertaken by any individual /clans/groups/organizations.

The monthly Wokha District Planning & Development Board Meeting was held at DC’s conference hall on 9th October 2020. The meeting was conducted by vice-chairman DPDB & DC Wokha, Orenthung Lotha.
