Deputy Commissioner, Wokha, Orenthung Lotha informs that some individuals are constructing buildings/structures along the NH-02 stretch starting from KM 101 to KM 125 (Tsungiki second bazaar to Doyang bridge).

Deputy Commissioner, Phek, Sachin Jaiswal, IAS has directed all the landowners/other governmental/non-governmental agencies that under section 9(2) of the Nagaland Land Requisition and Acquisition Act 1965 for construction of 2-Laning of Kohima – Jessami Road (Bharatmala Pariyojana) to clear up/vacate the compensated buildings, plantations, fisheries and any other structures on the ROW along packages III, IV & V within 15 days from the date of issue of this order.

On account of the on-going COVID-19 pandemic and with a view to contain the risk of spread of COVID-19 during the winter season which coincides with Flu season coupled with the ensuing Festive Season, the Department of Health & Family Welfare held a consultative meeting with Church Organizations, Civil Society Organisations, representatives of District Administration and Municipal Council was held on 16thDecember 2020. During the meeting the following were resolved:

Therefore, all concerned members have been asked to make it convenient and attend the meeting positively.
