ONLINE TRAINING HELD TO PROMOTE FLORICULTURE

Considering the immense potential to promote flowers in protected and open condition with technology back up and scheme support in the region after having seen flowers like orchids, gerbera and carnation being successfully grown in Nagaland, an online training programme and interactive session was jointly organised by District Administration, Dimapur and Central Institute of Horticulture, Medziphema, in association with Floriculture Association of Dimapur on 25th July 2020.

DIST ADMINISTRATION MON INFORMS ON TOTAL LOCKDOWN DIRECTIVES

Mon District Task Force held an emergency meeting on 26th July 2020 at the DC’s conference hall, Mon. Total lockdown has been enforced in Mon Town from 27th July to 2nd August 2020, in the light of certain emerging circumstances and a view to contain the spread of COVID-19. In this connection, Chumlamo Humtsoe, SDO (Civil) Sadar Mon has notified the following:

1.     Movement of public is strictly prohibited except medical emergencies.

DC KOHIMA NOTIFIES ON SEALED AREAS

Deputy Commissioner Kohima Gregory Thejawelie has notified that in view of the detection of a COVID-19 positive person residing at the following locations viz. Lower Chandmari (Ward No. 13), Daklane Ward No 7, New Minister’s Hill Ward No. 16 and Mima Village under Jakhama Sub-Division, the area defined below are demarcated as SEALED AREA in order to contain the spread of the disease/infection and for necessary contact tracing.
