DC DIMAPUR NOTIFIES

Deputy Commissioner Dimapur Anoop Khinchi, IAS in an order issued on 3rd April 2020 stated that Home Delivery Agencies for essential commodities permitted by DMC, LPG Bottling plant officials and staff, LPG Distributors and Media are exempted from the lockdown in Dimapur with immediate effect till further order.

REPORT ON COVID-19 LOCKDOWN

According to the report on Law & Order and facilitation of essential Goods & Services for 3rd of April 2020, 14 violations of the lockdown were reported in the State. Abhijit Sinha, IAS, Principal Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, while issuing the report stated that 18 persons have been arrested and 14 non-FIR cases have been registered. However, no fine was imposed and no vehicle was seized.
