In continuation of the Deputy Commissioner Office Order No. DCK/CON/COVID-19/2020/295 Dated Kohima, the 23rd July 2020 and as per the decision of the District Task Force (DTF) Kohima during its emergency meeting on 31st July 2020, the Deputy Commissioner Kohima Gregory Thejawelie has extended the "Total Lockdown" of the Kohima Municipal Area under Kohima Sadar Jurisdiction for a further period of 7 (Seven) days w.e.f 1st August 2020 till 7th August 2020.

Longleng District observed world day against human trafficking on 30th July 2020 at DC’s conference hall. The program was organized by District Task Force (DTF) BBBP, Mahila Shakti Kendra and Sakhi One Stop center Longleng on the theme “There Is Hope, Together we can stop the Traffickers, we are not powerless." with D.Robin ADC as special guest.

The Wokha DTF held a review meeting on 29th July 2020 at DC conference hall, Wokha. Deputy Commissioner & Chairman of Wokha DTF for Covid-19 Orenthung Lotha chaired the meeting. Col. K.S. Gill, Commandant of 40 Assam Rifles and Dr. Sachin KB, 40 AR also attended the meeting. Dr. C.W. Tungoe, CMO, Wokha gave a brief update of Covid-19 status in the District.

A meeting of the Longleng District Task Force on Covid-19 was held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner, Longleng M. ShayungPhom at his official Bungalow on 29th July 2020. The following agenda were discussed.
