WOKHA DPDB POSTPONED

Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman DPDB Wokha Orenthung Lotha informed all DPDB members the monthly DPDB meeting for the month of April is postponed in view of the global scenario regarding COVID-19.

DC further informed April DBDPO meeting is postponed till further order.

DC TUENSANG ISSUES ADVISORY

In pursuance to advisory received from Directorate of Health and Family, Government of Nagaland and in the event of District Hospital, Tuensang being converted into a dedicated COVID-19 hospital. STATE ROUND UP ON COVID-19 LAW & ORDER

Principal Secretary to the Government of Nagaland Abhijit Sinha IAS issued the District round report on Law & Order and facilitation of essential Goods & Services for the 6th of April 2020. According to the report, 2 persons violated the order of lockdown and 17 persons were bound down. There was no any incidents report of Law & order and action taken.

DC MON INFORMS ON GIA FUND

Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS has stated that as per the letter received from the Directorate of Rural Development, Nagaland, Kohima, 50% of GIA is released as 1st instalment to enable the Villages to meet the immediate needs to combat COVID-19. In this regard, the following advisory is issued to the Villagers in regard to the utilisation of the same:-

Deputy Commissioner Dimapur Anoop Kinchi IAS has appealed to the public to stay at home and not to come out in the street un- necessarily as the nation lockdown was still enforced. In case of emergency only, public are advised to avail the essential commodities from the colony markets during the specified timing ie from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
