DC LONGLENG ISSUES GUIDELINES FOR UTILISATION OF GIA
The Deputy Commissioner, Longleng M. Shayung Phom has directed to all the BDOs and Village Councils under Longleng district to strictly follow the guidelines for utilisation of 50 % of VDB household Grant-In-Aid (GIA) 2019 - 20 solely for the purpose of combating COVID-19 and diversion of the fund to any other works or purpose shall not be permitted.
DC MON INFORMS ON BANKING FOR VILLAGERS
Deputy Commissioner, Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS has notified that public in the villages and towns are facing problems due to their inability to access Banking facilities because of the present situation. Therefore, teams from India Post Payment Bank (IPPB) & Banking Correspondent (BC) Customer Service Point (CSP) Representatives (State Bank of India) will be visiting the villages to facilitate withdrawal of cash.
