Invoking Section 30 (1), (2) of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, and for Public health and safety measure, following the detection of one COVID-19 Positive person at Zunheboto from Merapani village, Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhandari, Tiameren Chang NCS, through an order dated the 9th August, 2020 had declared six colonies of Merapani Village (Marachu Yan) under Bhandari Sub-division, as Sealed Areas.
DC KOHIMA NOTIFIES
Deputy Commissioner Kohima Gregory Thejawelie has notified that in view of the detection of a COVID-19 positive person residing at the following location viz. Mima Village, the areas defined below are demarcated as SEALED AREA in order to contain the spread of the disease/infection and for necessary contact tracing.
All movement of person/vehicles within the defined Sealed Area is strictly restricted/prohibited and under active surveillance with immediate effect.

KOHIMA DC & CHAIRMAN DTF NOTIFIES ON PAID QUARANTINE CENTRE
The Kohima District Tasks Force (DTF) on COVID-19 in its emergency meeting held on 7th August resolved the following points for necessary adherence for all returnees to the District w.e.f. 10th August 2020: All returnees to the District will be charged for fooding @ Rs 300/- (Three Hundred only) per day for lunch and dinner. Other basic requirements will be made available on payment to all the returnees.
