Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K IAS in an order has notified the enforcement of a Total Lockdown from 4th August, 2020, 5 PM- 10th August, 2020 in Aboi Sub-Division under Mon District with the following conditions:

The full text is as follows:
“The total number of positive cases in the State as on today stands at 2,129. The positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals and COVID-19 Care Centres. Active surveillance and contact tracing is also in progress to prevent further spreading of the infection.
DIRECTORATE OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION INFORMS
Declaration of provisionally selected candidates for undergoing 3 years Diploma courses in the state run Polytechnics has been declared. Selected candidates have been informed to submit their acceptance/refusal letter to the Directorate of Technical Education on or before 14th August, 2020 (http://www.dtenagaland.org.in). In the event of any candidate fails to submit his/her acceptance letter, their selection shall stand cancelled.
DC TUENSANG ORDERS ON INTER DISTRICT MOVEMENT
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant IAS has issued orders as decided in the Tuensang District Task Force (DTF) meeting on COVID - 19 held on 28th July 2020 to monitor inter District movement of vehicles /people into Tuensang district in view of potential local /community transmission of COVID-19, the following Standard Operating procedures (SOP) for inter District travel are hereby notified with immediate effect:
DC MON INFORMS ON TRUCK MOVEMENT
Deputy commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS has stated that all trucks coming from Assam carrying essential commodities will be permitted to enter Mon District only on Wednesday and Friday i.e 5th & 7th of August 2020. The samples of the drivers and handymen will be collected for RT-PCR Testing at Tizit before proceeding to Mon. Any persons found violating this order will be penalised under provisions of the law.
