Abhijit Sinha, IAS, Principal Secretary to the Government of Nagaland issued the report on Law & Order and facilitation of essential Goods & Services for the 7th of April 2020. 9 violations of the lockdown was reported. Remedial steps were taken against the violations and 9 people were bound down. No FIR was lodged and no arrest was made. Also, no law and order incident has been reported in the State.

Principal Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, Abhijit Sinha has informed all the Deputy Commissioner of Nagaland for precautionary measures for maintaining peace and tranquillity on the occasion of Ram Navami and Hanuman Javanti on 2nd and 8th April 2020 respectively.
DC MON DIRECTS SHOPKEEPERS
Deputy Commissioner, Mon Thavaseelan K IAS has directed all shopkeepers within Mon District to issue cash memo to the customers for every purchase.
Further, people are advised to ensure receipt of the cash memo. In case of any complaint in regard to price hike, selling above MRP etc it will be mandatory to produce the cash memo as an evidence.
