A meeting of the High Powered Committee (HPC) on COVID-19 is hereby convened under the Chairmanship of the Chief Minister on the 23rd of July 2020 (Thursday) at 11.00 am. in the Chief Minister’s Residential Complex, Kohima.

“I am deeply grieved to learn of the demise of Shri. Lalji Tandon (12th April 1935- 21st July 2020) Hon’ble Governor of Madhya Pradesh, and a senior member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) after a prolonged illness on 21u July 2020.

Deputy commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K has notified that in order to facilitated Contact Tracing of persons affected with COVID-19 in the near future, he directed that the concerned family/organisers should mandatorily maintain a register with records of visitors/guests attending any kinds of gathering such as marriages, funerals, prayer meetings, baby christening functions, etc within Mon district.

Chairman NBSE, Asano Sekhose has informed that in view of the COVID-19 pandemic, the felicitation function for the rank holders of HSLC & HSSLC Examinations 2020 will not be held this year and necessary arrangements will be made to transfer the cash awards to the bank accounts of the 4(four) Toppers and Achievers in MILs & Skill Education subjects.
