DC MON UPDATES ON COVID-19 SITUATION
According to the DC Mon, 6 persons have tested positive for Covid-19 at an Institutional Quarantine Centre in Mon town. 7 samples were sent to RMRC Dihrugarh (ICMR) yesterday. All these 7 samples tested positive in the TrueNattest and were hence sent to ICMR for confirmation as per extant protocol. They belong to a group of people who returned from Chennai and were housed in an Institutional Quarantine Centre in Mon. They are all Asymptomatic.
REPORT ON COVID-19 LOCK DOWN FOR 12th JUNE 2020
The Joint Secretary for Home Department, Hiazu Meru issued the report on COVID-19 lock down for Nagaland as on 12th June 2020 and stated that there was no violation of the lock down nor incidents of law & order in the State.

BRIEFING ON COVID-19 ON 12th JUNE 2020 FOR NAGALAND BY NEIBA KRONU, MINISTER, PLANNING & COORDINATION, LAND REVENUE AND PARLIAMENTARY AFFAIRS

“Today, 9 samples have been tested positive for COVID-19, and another 17 samples had got tested negative yesterday night. The total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 156. Out of this, the total active cases are 115 and 41 have recovered. All the positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals.
FIVE RECOVERS FROM TUENSANG
Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant IAS has informed all concerned that the report of 5 (five) COVID-19 positive cases, returnees from Chennai who are admitted at COVID Hospital Tuensang have tested negative for COVID-19 as per report received from the Chief Medical Officer, Tuensang. Subsequent actions are being taken as per the SOP. With 5 (five) positive cases being tested negative, Tuensang district has no COVID-19 positive case now.
