Having noticed pigs still being imported into the district despite the order issued by the Administration, banning import of pigs in Dimapur District from outside the state owing to outbreak of “African Swine Fever” and high mortality rate of pigs in the neighbouring states, DC Dimapur Anoop Khinchi in an order reiterated that the ban on import of pigs from neighbouring states still stands.

DC KOHIMA INFORMS
Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie NCS, has informed that based on the consultations held with officials/members of the District Task Force, KCCI and KMC, the marketing days have been relaxed and permitted commercial establishments are allowed to remain open on all weekdays (Mon -Sat) from 7 : 00 AM to 04 :00 PM, with immediate effect.
