STATE ROUNDUP ON COVID-19 LOCKDOWN
Joint Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, Hiazu Meru informed that no violation of the lockdown nor any law & order incident have been reported in the State as on 14th June 2020.
BRIEFING ON COVID-19 ON 13th JUNE 2020 FOR NAGALAND
The full text is as follows :
“Today, 7 samples has been tested positive for COVID-19. The total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 163. Out of this, the total active cases are 87, and 76 have recovered. As per the severity of symptoms, all the 87 active cases are asymptomatic cases.
Till date, a total of 5,945 samples have been tested. Results of 4,616 samples have been received and 1,329 samples are awaited.

MEETING HELD IN NOKLAK REGARDING REOPENING OF RELIGIOUS PLACES
In pursuance to the Government Order Vide No.CSO/GAB/GEN-1/2020 regarding reopening of Religious Place, Noklak Sub-Divisional Administration held a consultative meeting with the church leaders- Khiamniungan Baptist Churches Association Staff, Pastors and Deacons of all the churches in an around Noklak Hq on 12th June 2020 at DB Court ADC Office Noklak to discuss on the matter pertaining to re-opening of churches for worship services.
DC MON UPDATES ON COVID-19 SITUATION
According to the DC Mon, 6 persons have tested positive for Covid-19 at an Institutional Quarantine Centre in Mon town. 7 samples were sent to RMRC Dihrugarh (ICMR) yesterday. All these 7 samples tested positive in the TrueNattest and were hence sent to ICMR for confirmation as per extant protocol. They belong to a group of people who returned from Chennai and were housed in an Institutional Quarantine Centre in Mon. They are all Asymptomatic.
