I extend warm Sökrönye greetings to my Chakhesang brothers and sisters and to the people of Nagaland.

It is a harvest festival and the essence of this beautiful festival is sanctification of the Chakhesang community. Rituals involved are meant to purify the souls, and the children also learn the rich spiritual and cultural practices.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner & vice chairman, SDPDB pughoboto, Shri. Thungchanbemo Tungoe has informed that the Sub-Divisional Planning & Development Board meeting for the month of January will be held on 18th January 2021 at 11:00 AM at the DB's court Pughoboto. The program for the Republic Day celebration will also be discussed. All members have been asked to attend the meeting positively.

The Chief Secretary to the Government of Nagaland has in circular notified that the next Administrative Heads of Department and Heads of Departments will be held on 19th January 2021 in the Secretariat Conference Hall, Nagaland Civil Secretariat Kohima.

All AHoDs and HoDs have been informed to attend the meeting positively.

In pursuance of the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) and State Executive Committee (SEC) decision, the State Government has declared that the office of Home Commissioner shall also function as Commissioner Disaster Management/ Relief Commissioner and Administrative Head of Department (AHoD) for the Secretariat of Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority, Home Department, established as per the provision of Disaster Management Act 2005 Section 14 (1).
