REPORT ON COVID-19 LOCKDOWN

The daily report on Law & Order and Facilitation of Essential Goods & Services informed that 3 violations of the lockdown were reported and as remedial steps, 3 persons were bound down as on the 17th of June 2020. While issuing the report, Joint Secretary, Hiazu Meru added no Law & Order incident has been reported in the State.

18 RETURNEES ARRIVES AT KIPHIRE

Eighteen persons arrived at Kiphire town by two NST Buses early this morning, 17th June, 2020 around 5:00 a.m. The total number of persons were eighteen including 16 males and two females. DTF members led by Deputy Commissioner Kiphire Sarita Yadav recieved them. Returnees were also handed food packs.

All the returnees at the arrival were thoroughly screened and conveyed to Institution Quarantine established at Loyola Higher Secondary School Kiphire.

YWCA SERVES BREAKFAST TO TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE & DRIVERS

The Young Women Christian Association (YWCA) of Dimapur served breakfast to all the Bus drivers and Transportation Committee who are assigned to a chain of duties related to the Returnees as they awaited the arrival of the Shramik special train from New Delhi i.e. 16th June 2020.

The YWCA also served breakfast to the officers and Traffic personnel at the Dimapur Traffic Control Room.

DTF KIPHIRE RESOLVES TO MAINTAIN STATUS QUO

The DTF members Kiphire held meeting on Saturday evening, 13th June at District Planning and Development Board hall, chaired by DC Smti Sarita Yadav.

Discussing with respect to inter/Intra District movement of passengers and conveyance, the members agreed to maintain status Quo restricting free movements.
