ADC Peren, Moa Sangtam has notified that in view of the detection of COVID-19 Positive patient and in order to take preventive measures to contain the spread of COVID-19 and as per the SOP issued by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Directorate General of Health Services (EMR) Division, Govt. of India, Dated 4th June 2020, the OPD of District Hospital, Peren is sealed for 48 hours with effect from 2nd November, 2020.

Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer, Kohima Mohammed Ali Shihab A IAS has informed all concerned that under Section 126 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, in the period of 48 hours ending with the hour fixed for the close of poll, no campaign can be carried out.

In view of the ongoing Bye-election to 14th Southern Angami-l Assembly Constituency scheduled for polling on 3rd Nov. 2020, the Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Kohima, Mohammed Ali Shihab A has notified that all the shops/business establishments and Government Offices under the 14th Southern Angami-l Assembly Constituency and all shops/ business establishments within Kohima Municipal Area have directed to remain closed on the day of Poll i.e.

M & N Fish Enterprise, under the aegis of the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Nagaland, opened its Fresh Local Fish Stall at the Fish Kiosks on 30th October 20020 at Secretariat Road, New Capital Complex, Kohima. The stall was inaugurated by Deputy Director, Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Ketuselie, in the presence of Assistant Director/District Fishery Officer, Dr. Vimezo Kere, owner of M & N Fish Enterprise A. Angami, and well wishers.
