- The State Government is of the view that the assessment of the law and order being precarious and grim and having deteriorated and collapsed since August 2019 does not appear to be factual. The State of Nagaland was born out of a political settlement. However, in the last 57 years of its existence, the political problem still remains unresolved.
DC PEREN DECLARES CONTAINMENT ZONES UNDER PEREN DISTRICT
In view of the detection of positive cases of COVID-19 among those sent for home quarantine at Dobashi Colony, Jalukie town and its adjoining areas and Ward number 5, Tening town and in pursuance of the Standard Operating Protocols (SoP) issued by the Govt. of Nagaland, Deputy Commissioner of Peren, Sentiwapang Aier, NCS on 2nd July, 2020 has immediately declared the aforementioned areas as Containment Zones.

In continuation of Office of the Deputy Commissioner Mon, Chumlamo Humtsoe SDO (Civil) Sadar issued a notice dated 29th June 2020, in view of the detection of COVID-19 positive case in Mon Town, all the persons who have come in close contact with the positive persons during the funeral at Thamnan Ward on 22nd June 2020 or otherwise have been advised for self isolation themselves till their tests are conducted by Medical Department and also to contact the following numbers:
DEPT OF SCHOOL EDUCATION TO CONDUCT SURVEY
Principal Director School, Education Shanavas C, IAS has notified for the information of all concerned that the Department proposes to conduct a survey for assessing the reach of the Tele/Radio Online Education being conducted since May 2020. The objective of the survey is to ensure that the benefits of the programme reach majority of students across the State.
