KMC Administrator, Kovi Meyase has informed that there has been an instances of transmission of Corona Virus through wet market and slaughter houses especially those dealing with fresh meat, poultry and raw fishes in other parts of the world.

DC KOHIMA INFORMS
Gregory Thejawelie, NCS Deputy Commissioner Kohima has informed that all the returnees entering Kohima District from outside the State should mandatorily get themselves tested for COVID-19 infection as per the various SOPs/guidelines/directives of the Government from time to time.
BRIEFING ON COVID-19 ON 30TH JUNE 2020 FOR NAGALAND BY PRINCIPAL SECRETARY, HOME
The full text is as follows :
“As on today, the total number of positive cases in the State stands at 459. Out of this, the total active cases are 291, and 168 have recovered. All the positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals. As per the severity of symptoms, all the 291 active cases are asymptomatic.
Till date, a total of 12,161 samples have been tested. Results of 11,408 samples have been received.
STATE ROUNDUP ON COVID-19 LOCKDOWN
The daily report on Law & Order and Facilitation of Essential Goods & Services stated that four violations of the lockdown were reported and as remedial step, seven persons were bound down as on 17th June. This was informed by Joint Secretary, Hiazu Meru and he added that no Law & Order incident has been reported in the State.
