SCHOOL SAFETY AND SECURITY PLEDGE

To ensure School Safety, stakeholders hold a crucial part in safeguarding the interest of the children.  As such, to assure their participation and accountability, a School Safety Pledge has been created whereby the teachers, parents and students together with the Heads of schools, pledge to ensure that the school is a Safe, Secure and happy place for all.  This pledge will reflect the importance of the role that stakeholders play in ensuring a safe environment for their school.

DC KOHIMA LIFTS ALL SEALED AREAS NOTIFIED ON OR BEFORE 9 SEPTEMBER

The Deputy Commissioner Kohima Gregory Thejawelie NCS has issued an Order stating that in view of the detection of Covid-19 Positive person at various locations of Ward/Colony/Village in the district, the Office of Deputy Commissioner Kohima has declared/demarcated those locations as a Sealed Area whereby various restrictions were imposed to contain the spread of disease/infection and the area was kept under strict and active Medical surveillance and movement within the area

THEME SONG AND LOGO FOR ‘DESTINATION NORTH EAST’ LAUNCHED

The launch of theme song and logo for ‘Destination North East’ an annual event for promoting tourism by the collaborative effort of North Eastern Council (NEC), Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) and North East Region Community Resource Management Project (NERCORMP) was held at a virtual platform at the North Eastern Council Secretariat on 21st September.
