Zunheboto Town Council released a music video on 22nd August, 2020. The music video was composed, written and performed by Aron T. Assumi and is part of the “Plastic Free Zunheboto” campaign, an initiative of Zunheboto Town Council powered by the Urban Development department. The campaign aims to discourage the use of plastic in the town and help to make Zunheboto plastic free.

Department of School Education has called for suggestions from School Teachers and Principals from all over the country on how to take the implementation process of the National Education Policy, 2020 forward. The suggestions are being called on each theme of the NEP related to school education, through a question answer process. The questions are framed in such a manner that teachers can relate to them from their experience as teachers and classroom transactions.

Addl. Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa, has notified that in view of the detection of a COVID-19 positive person residing at the following locations viz. P.R.Hill, Kohima, Merhulietsa (Para Medical) Colony, Lower Agri Colony, Perizie Colony and Upper Agri Colony, the areas defined below are demarcated as SEALED AREA in order to contain the spread of the disease/infection and for necessary contact tracing.

Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K, has notified that in view of the inconveniences which was face by the villages while availing essential services, the following standard operating procedure (SOP) has issued in order to streamline the movement of people from the villages.
