DC WOKHA BANS SALE AND USE OF FIRE CRACKERS

Deputy Commissioner, Wokha, Orenthung Lotha in exercise of the power conferred under Section 22(2) (h) of the Disaster Management Act 2005, hereby directs that there shall be a complete ban on sale and use of fire crackers in Wokha district from 12th November 2020 till 31st January 2021.

Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Mohammed Ali Shihab A IAS has notified that in view of the detection of a COVID-19 positive patient, the District Task Force (DTF) Kohima has decided to seal the following under mentioned as per the guidelines on preventive measures to contain the spread of COVID-19 in workplace settings issued by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Directorate General of Health Services (EMR Division), Govt. of India, Dated 4th June 2020.

In pursuance to the Notification issued by Home Department and as a measure of abundant precaution against harmful impact of chemical which have severe impact on the respiratory health of vulnerable groups and may prove hazardous for recovered as well as active COVID-19 patients, DC, Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan has directed complete ban on sale and use of fire crackers in Dimapur District from 10th November 2020 to 31st January 2021 in public interest.
