Despite repeated orders issued by Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, it has been reported that some villages are barring entry to medical personnel, persons on emergency duty in the wake of COVID-19 and also staff and patients of Zion hospital Dimapur.
STATE GOVERNMENT NOTIFIES ON CONTAINMENT MEASURES
The Lockdown has been extended across the State with all the existing containment measures upto 3rd May 2020 vide Order of even number, Dated 14th April 2020;
The Government of India Ministry of Home Affairs Order NO. 40-3/2020- DM-I(A), dated 15th April 2020 has ordered for certain additional measures for containment of COVID-19 epidemic in die country which will come into force with immediate effect;

In order to facilitate the citizens to buy essential commodities, the Deputy Commissioner Kohima has informed the general public that the exempted shops which include Grocery, Bakery and Pharmacy will be opened tomorrow the 16th April 2020 from 7:00 A.M to 12:00 Noon.
GOVERNMENT WARNS AGAINST LEAKING CONFIDENTIAL DATA
With the powers conferred by the Nagaland Epidemic Disease (COVID- 19) Regulations, 2020; it is a punishable offence to reveal the identity of the COVID-19 affected person(s).
It has been observed that various confidential data related to COVID-19 have been leaked to social media by unscrupulous persons. Therefore, such offenders will henceforth, be taken action against without any warning.
